Toronto, Ont. – Sencap Partners Inc. (Sencap) is pleased to announce the closing of a $58.1-million senior-secured private placement project financing for Niwaas Long-Term Care (Niwaas LTC) home in Brampton, Ont. With Sencap as the exclusive financial advisor and debt arranger, this project, supported by the Ontario Ministry of Long-Term Care, involves the development and construction of a 160-bed LTC home.
"Working with Sencap was such a wonderful experience. From the very beginning, their team made a complex process feel easy and stress-free. Their knowledge and guidance gave us real peace of mind as we navigated financing for the Niwaas project,” said Niwaas LTC Chair Gurvinder Kaur.
Kaur added, “A huge thank you to Ben, who was always just a call away — patient, kind and genuinely invested in helping us succeed. His support and reassurance made all the difference. We’re truly grateful to Sencap for walking alongside us on this journey and helping turn our vision into reality."
With construction underway and operations set to begin in 2027, Niwaas LTC will be the first Sikh-Punjabi LTC home in Ontario, creating a culturally sensitive environment designed to enhance the quality of life for Brampton seniors. Sencap is honoured to have supported this milestone for Niwaas LTC and the Sikh-Punjabi Canadian communities.
Niwaas LTC is a not-for-profit organization and the first LTC home development initiative of Sri Guru Nanak Sikh Centre Brampton. Niwaas LTC will specialize in providing a comprehensive suite of services to meet the needs of Sikh-Punjabi Canadian communities.
