
Toronto, Ont. – Sencap Partners Inc. (Sencap) is pleased to announce the closing of a $58.1-million senior-secured private placement project financing for Sri Guru Nanak Sikh Centre Brampton’s Niwaas Long-Term Care (Niwaas LTC) home in Brampton, Ont. With Sencap as the exclusive financial advisor and debt arranger, this project, supported by the Ontario Ministry of Long-Term Care, involves the development and construction of a 160-bed LTC home.
With construction underway and operations set to begin in 2027, Niwaas LTC will be the first Sikh-Punjabi LTC home in Ontario, creating a culturally sensitive environment designed to enhance the quality of life for Brampton seniors. Sencap is honoured to have supported this milestone for Niwaas LTC and the Sikh-Punjabi Canadian communities.
Sri Guru Nanak Sikh Centre Brampton is a not-for-profit organization operating two Gurdwaras (Sikh places of worship) in Brampton, which opened in 1995 and 2006, respectively. In addition to its regular services and celebrations, Sri Guru Nanak Sikh Centre Brampton is expanding its initiatives with its first LTC home development, specializing in providing a comprehensive suite of services to meet the needs of Sikh-Punjabi Canadian communities.
